Our Classes

RAD Ballet

Established in 1920, The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations, with its global headquarters in London and it's patron Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Students begin learning the foundations of ballet technique in our Introductory Ballet classes before moving on through the RAD syllabus from Pre-Primary and Primary levels, then onto graded and vocational examinations. The RAD syllabi focuses on creativity and musicality, providing opportunities to progress and achieve for all.

Established in 1904, The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing is one of the world's leading dance examination boards. Tap Dance is an exciting, percussive, rhythmical dance form.

The dancer uses their feet to strike the floor, beating out a melody, with tap shoes to give the distinctive sound and is often seen in stage and musical productions. Students will work through the ISTD syllabus with the opportunity to take examinations from Pre-Primary through to Advanced 2 level.

ISTD Modern

Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style rooted in musical theatre, which originated in America. It is often seen in musical productions and is known for its dynamic theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. ISTD Modern also incorporates jazz, lyrical and contemporary dance styles into its examination syllabus. Students will progress through the syllabus, with opportunities to take exams, gaining the practical education for those who just love to dance, or who wish to pursue a dance related career.

Musical Theatre

This is the place for students to gain knowledge of different musicals and productions, whilst also working on singing technique, acting skills and dance sequences. Triple threat training begins here! A brilliant class for building confidence and social skills, singing and dancing together as a group.

Singing Lessons

Singing lessons are offered on a 1-1 basis, allowing us to create a personalised programme to help every student to reach their potential. Learn the foundations of singing technique and performance through singing your favourite pop song or musical number. The perfect environment for building confidence in every performer!

Our Acro classes focus on learning floor based gymnastic skills and adapting them for a dance setting. Students will work on their strength, balance, flexibility, limbering and tumbling to gain new tricks and skills. Classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Perfect for those children who spend more time upside down, cartwheeling around!

A great place to start learning jazz technique. A class that focuses on body conditioning and flexibility as well as teaching the basis of turns, kicks and leaps. All of these new skills are then incorporated in different routines to learn different performance styles and qualities, from an up beat musical theatre jazz, to a controlled and stylised blues.

Boys Street

With its roots in break-dancing and Hip Hop culture, it's namesake comes from the very place where it originally evolved, the streets! The evolvement and development of styles are largely influenced by current music trends and promos/videos.

A fun and free class where students build confidence, strength and stamina. This class is a place for our boys to come together and learn new and different performing styles.
